Event Details

The Youth Food Movement Australia hosts the second annual Food Festival ride-on-lunch, inviting young foodies and the young at heart to spend a relaxed afternoon on a bicycle food tour throughout Sydney's inner city and surrounding suburbs. Cycle around the neighbourhood, stopping at selected venues which celebrate local and seasonal produce, and meet young farmers, gardeners, chefs and cooks who share the vision of a sustainable food future.

It's an urban food adventure, an informal gathering of like-minded people, where food is the only fuel of the day! Join a swarm of cyclists for an urban meal adventure. No matter the weather, bring your bike, helmet, lights and jacket. Bring whatever you would like to share, but please be aware that the Youth Food Movement Ride-on-Lunch is a zero-waste event, so please no disposables.

Tickets are $17 (+online booking fee of $1.67).  Spaces are limited, so register today!

Youth Food Movement

We are a volunteer based organisation and our aim is to cultivate a nation-wide movement of informed young adults who are passionate about good food and have the capacity and motivation to support a healthy and sustainable food system.

We hope to foster this large-scale social change, through the delivery of innovative and audacious initiatives and campaigns that mobilise and empower young people to become more food literate.
